The company buys cocoa beans from the farmers (wet/dry) for processing and exporting to internal cocoa buyers. Current activities cover bulk exports of dry cocoa beans and has commenced processing of cocoa into downstream processing of cocoa products for the export market. Forecast is connecting cocoa farmers in producing high-quality cocoa beans for processing and export.

Wilyete Cocoa have made significant investment in property development of a cocoa depot warehouse, including cocoa processing machinery, equipment (forklift/vehicles/power plant) for the processing of dry cocoa beans. The company invested in new equipment for cocoa downstream processing to process cocoa beans and have ready made products for export.

By enhancing this activity, the company anticipates higher returns for cocoa value chain for us and the farmers. Wilyete Investment, is duly registered with PNG Cocoa Board of PNG, as a cocoa processor and exporter for PNG quality cocoa beans and products to the international markets. All certificates and licenses are current in compliance to PNG cocoa board.

Manufacturing Machinery

WCPCL have installed cocoa processing machinery for processing raw cocoa beans into manufactured products for the export market in South East Asis, Australia, America, and European Countries.

Cocoa Butter and Cocoa Powder will be bulk manufactured in March 2025, when cocoa season peaks. This will enable steady and consistent supply for exports.
