Wilyete Cocoa has successfully obtained GACC (General Administration of Customs of China) Registration, officially authorizing the company to export cocoa and cocoa-based products into the Chinese market. This milestone represents a major achievement for Wilyete Cocoa and opens the door to one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing consumer markets.
With this approval, Wilyete Cocoa is now positioned to begin exporting premium Papua New Guinea organic cocoa beans and value-added cocoa products, including cocoa powder, cocoa butter, and cocoa liquor, directly to buyers and manufacturers in China. The company has worked to meet strict Chinese import standards covering food safety, traceability, quality control, and processing requirements.
This development creates new opportunities for expanded trade partnerships, increased production capacity, and improved income for local cocoa farmers connected to Wilyete’s supply network. By entering the Chinese market, Wilyete Cocoa aims to promote PNG’s reputation for high-quality, organically grown cocoa while strengthening sustainable farming practices and rural economic growth.
Wilyete Cocoa looks forward to building long-term relationships with Chinese distributors, processors, and chocolate manufacturers, and to delivering consistent, certified, and ethically sourced cocoa products to meet growing demand.
